MUSIC AND DANCING

An aperitif on the beach at sunset, and music and fun in the surrounding hills are important features of the Adriatic coast. In a stretch of a few kilometres you will find the highest number of discotheques, disco bars and night clubs in the whole of Italy. Some of them have hosted legendary singers, actors and famous people from both past and present times. The Adriatic Riviera is the cradle of trends as regards nightlife, so we have chosen some places which are not to be missed.

 

Milano Marittima - Cervia

  • Pineta
    A top class discotheque on the Adriatic Riviera: elegance and fashion, summer and winter, fine people and many VIPs. The Pineta is an exclusive meeting point with a minimalist, well-kept, sophisticated setting, which is continually enriched with new stunning finishing touches.
  • Idroscalo
    A place which is beyond this world, so far yet so near. As soon as you enter, Idroscalo calls to mind distant places full of charm and excitement, which take you back in time creating a relaxing and sophisticated atmosphere.
  • Pacifico
    One of the most popular night spots on the Riviera, it is a restaurant, pub and disco and stands beside the Pineta, to which it is connected inside. Playboys, managers and models all come to this part of town. The pool on the splendid terrace helps to highlight the whole setting of these fine surroundings.
  • Hype Cafè
    In what has become one of the most famous streets in Italy, there is something different, something which is above average, a forerunner of trends. Hype Cafè cannot go unnoticed : steel furnishings, florescent lights and selected music create a fashionable setting in which to have breakfast, a quick lunch, enjoy an aperitif or have a drink.
  • Papeete Beach
    A wonderful summer spot on the beach, one of the most fashionable and trendiest places on the Riviera of Romagna. It is an extremely popular location with excellent music, where many famous show business celebrities often spend some of their time.

Cesenatico

  • LOF'T
    It is no longer just a restaurant, but a place where good quality food is served in a party atmosphere created with live music or background music chosen by a professional DJ. The name of this restaurant means different things: if it is read as “LOFT” it means a large-spaced restructured garage, or if read as “L’OFT” it literally means railway maintenance workshop.
  • En.Er.Gy Paradise NRG
    Energy is a lively spot ideal for young people, an exciting experience not to be missed, it is always good fun and attentive to current changes in music trends. A place that has played an important role as a disco club on the Riviera and which intends to continue as a reference point for both local and non-local youngsters.
  • Molo 95 – Harbour’s east-side
    A real disco bar situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Cesenatico. The “Molo” offers its customers two distinct areas, just like two places in one, thus providing two different ways to spend the evening; a “street bar” right on the promenade of the harbour canal where DJs offer various types of music, and a “Disco Area” where you can dance all night! A place that is attentive to quality and where admission is free.
  • Batija
    A Mediterranean style place, a pleasant and efficient building in which a dynamic and attractive environment is created. Just 30m from the sea, the Batija will surprise everyone with its South-American atmosphere. Sun, sea, breakfast, aperitifs, lunch, music, carefree enjoyment and never intrusive, featuring concerts, cabaret, shows, DJs and much more.
  • Bitter Club - Margò
    A club with free admission, drink orders are optional, and table bookings are available. Open every Saturday, it is focused on one dance floor and offers a selection of music including Commercial, House and Rock music.
  • Dancing Kiss Kiss – Harbour’s west-side
    A characteristic place of traditional style with tables and armchairs which create the atmosphere of “Romagna-style dance halls” from the past. Outdoor dance floor with tables in the garden and indoor dance floor surrounded by tables. Every evening there is a live band which plays the classic music of Romagna-style ballroom dancing, Latin American and disco music.
  • Oro Bianco
    A small cosmopolitan place, the setting of which changes monthly. It is amazingly intimate and welcoming like few others; you will be tempted to lie down on its fantastic sofas. It always remains fashionable, so if you are “trendy”, be sure to give it a visit.

Rimini, Riccione et environs

  • Paradiso
    One of the most exclusive and well-known clubs on the Romagnola Riviera, a popular destination of those in pursuit of a chic night out, including show business, fashion and sports celebrities. Over the years it has been drastically restyled, with a touch of colour and some unusual brushstrokes to interrupt the consistency of the whiteness of its Mediterranean style.
  • Coconuts
    The Caraibi has been moved to the famous promenade of Rimini and provides two dance floors where you can dance all night to the rhythm of R&B, commercial, house, world and happy music, as well as Italian music, obviously not forgetting the notes of Latin American music. It is often visited by famous celebrities such as Rossella Brescia, Kledi, Carlton Meyers. The Coconuts organizes events which have become popular, such as the 70s party, the Moulin Rouge party, Cuban, Brazilian and Argentinian parties.
  • Place Of Joy Mon Amour
    A famed place in Rimini with different settings; disco and live music, a tavern restaurant and piano bar. In the disco area you can dance to commercial music and music performed by live bands. You will be surprised by the “Attico” Piano Bar and Champagneria, a new ambience which reminds us of the New York lofts in suburban areas, from pale colours and soft lines, not forgetting the details of complete Italian design, where you can listen to excellent music while sipping some excellent wine in the early evening.
  • Ecu Club
    A unique place, the only one of its kind, set on three floors for three different types of music. Ecu ecektro zone, Hard Core Place, Privilegi House Club. Hardcore, House and Commercial music to suit all tastes.
  • Cocoricò
    The “Cocco” is the disco which continues to make history, the leader of trends, home of transgression since 1984. It is shared out between Titilla, the pure house culture of DJ Ralf, Claudio di Rocco, Federica Baby Doll, Morphine, the workshop of music types, the Pyramid room where the evolution of new styles in techno music reigns.
  • Pascià
    It has been back in fashion since 2004, confirming itself as one of the clubs which is a reference point for the elite public which enlivens the nightlife in Riccione. After having its rooms and console restyled, its interior has been renovated and brought up-to-date, the style of the Pascià reminds us of Miami, rich in ethnic characteristics and themes which are typical of the East Coast of America.
  • Byblos
    An enchanting Mediterranean-style white villa situated on one of the most outstanding hills in the inland area of Riccione. Set on two floors with spacious terraces and a covered area, it boasts a restaurant worthy of great gourmets, a swimming pool, three dance floors and seven bars. Commercial music on Friday evening, and house music on Saturday evening.
  • Villa delle Rose
    Nominated as one of the most glamorous clubs in Italy, the Villa delle Rose, is a fashionable place no-one wants to miss visiting. It is set inside a characteristic villa on the hills around Riccione and offers a breathtaking view. An amazing crystal pyramid stands above the main dance floor, which is surrounded by several mini-priveè tables for a selected public.
  • Baia Imperiale
    Established on the cinders of the historic Baia degli Angeli, amid the verdant hills of Gabicce stands one of the 10 most beautiful discotheques in the world: the Baia Imperiale. It features statues of Roman Emperors, and its furnishings are characterised by the typical style of the Roman Empire.
